Recording Sessions at Beechwood Studio, Armidale

Tallowdale Music is recording an album!

Following the success of the Twilight Chamber Music Concert in 2016, the repertoire by Billingham was recorded over the course of five days at Beechwood Studios in Armidale. We were warmly hosted by studio owners, Peta and Colin Bale, and joined by monitoring engineer Daniel Bale and producer Peter Stevenson. Twelve of our musicians recorded tracks individually and as an ensemble, which are currently being prepared for mastering and production. We await with anticipation the release of Tallowdale's CD in the next few months.

The album will feature Billingham's piece for chamber orchestra, "From Hidden Valleys to the Open Sea", which was commissioned by the Manning Winter Festival in 2016 to reflect the beauty of the Manning Valley. A series of concerts will be held this year in Sydney and in the Manning region to celebrate the release of Tallowdale's new album.
