Baked Apples infused with Rose


4 apples, peeled, cored & sliced

2 tablespoons Hipster Rose tea leaves

2 cups boiling water 

¼ cup slivered almonds

¼ cup dates, pitted & chopped

¼ cup sultanas

1 tablespoon raw sugar


Preheat oven to 180°C.

Brew tea leaves in water for 5 minutes, strain and set aside.

Meanwhile, divide apples evenly amongst single-serve ramekins or oven-proof dishes.

Combine dry ingredients in small bowl, then spoon over apples.

Pour tea over apple mixture, so that apples are half-immersed with liquid.

Bake for half an hour, or until apples are cooked through.

Enjoy hot with melting ice-cream!
